Jesus,Simon Wiesenthal, the Nazi Hunter, and Claiming to be God

ACCORDING to JUDAISM,to its standards,Jesus undeniably says he is God in the gospels.Muslims just can not accept it.Who knows why?

In Judaism

If I steal from YOU then my friend(a human) can NOT forgive the sin for ME in YOUR place.I have NOT stolen from HIM but from YOU.I have to ask YOU to forgive me for what I did to YOU.

Only GOD can do it in YOUR place. Why?Since when I stole from YOU I was also commiting a SIN against, not only YOU but against GOD.

Jesus Forgives the Sins of Others (who had done him no harm):

Mark 2:1-12

Matthew 9:1-8

Luke 5:17-26

They have Jesus say he is God.

Mark 2:1-12:

“A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home.So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, YOUR SINS are FORGIVEN.”
Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, “Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s BLASPHEMING! Who can FORGIVE SINS but GOD alone?”

Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things? Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? But that you may know that the SON OF MAN(Jesus)has authority on earth to FORGIVE SINS” He said to the paralytic,”I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!””

Simon Wiesenthal (1908-2005)

He was a man of contradictions,Jewish, who was in concentration camps and survived. He lost 89 relatives in the Holocaust. After the war he began capturing the Nazi criminals who had killed so many.He says he helped capture Eichmann and 1,100 other Nazis. One was the man who had captured ANNE FRANK,the famous diarist.Lately his reputation is under attack and it is possible he was less noble. There are real inconsistencies in his different accounts of his life plus available independent records.

About an event Wiesenthal claims occurred

When he was in a concentration camp he was once taken to a German hospital.A nurse took him to a lonely room, where a 21 year-old German soldier was dying. He told him he had participated in a massacre of Jews, and asked Simon Wiesenthal to FORGIVE him for killing Jews.

Simon Wiesenthal did not answer, nothing. He just left.Later he told his story to a fellow prisoner,a RELIGIOUS Jew.The man told him he had done right. He could NOT forgive him for something he had not done to him but to OTHERS.Only GOD could do it.After the war he went to see the mother of the soldier to tell her of how he died, but did not have the heart to tell her he had participated in an atrocity. He wrote a book about it:“The Sunflower”.

The book “The Sunflower”

Years later he wrote his account and asked 53 intellectuals to answer the question:”Did HE do the right thing?Should he have FORGIVEN the soldier?”
Among the contributors are Desmond Tutu of South Africa/ the Dalai / Primo Levi(the Auschwitz survivor,a Jewish-Italian intellectual).
